Czech this out!

Roger Cook/Pynelea Photo Bureau took a day out in Prague

Just across the Vtlava River from Prague's old town is the National Technical Museum. If you are visiting Prague, it is well worth the walk up through the Letná Park to the museum as this affords excellent views of the river and the City of Prague.

The History of Transportation is located in the Central Hall which is filled with steam locomotives, railway carriages, cars, motorcycles and, of course, aircraft. The majority of the exhibits have been designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic, or at least, the former Czechoslovakia. Most of the aircraft are suspended from the roof but with three upper galleries viewing of the aircraft is excellent.
